Jongik Kim received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from KAIST, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University. He worked as a senior researcher with ETRI, and he was a professor at Jeonbuk National University. He is currently a professor with Chungnam National University. His research interests are in the field of data management, including query processing and optimization, text and graph data analytics, and storage systems.
